Coming from the south, the most convenient way to Eckernförde is on the A7/E45. Leave the autobahn at exit 8, Rendsburg / Büdelsdorf. Follow the B 203 für 18 km to Eckernförde.
Hemmelmark lies about four kilometers northeast of Eckernförde. After leaving Eckernförde, direction Waabs/Damp about 4 kilometers, turn to the right at the sign to “Hemmelmark”, then immediately after a few meters turn right again. Alte Schule lies at the end of that driveway.
